What should I do to help raise activity here?
Should we think of a really exciting plot that active members can all join into, and advertise this? We did this on MUSTANG and a lot of new members joined because of it. The plot however got inactive because of stuff going on in my life and I had 2 of the main roles in it. But if we do that I would be happy to help brain storm with everyone. I doubt any of my horses are going to get severely sick, and then another one die out of the blue. But if that happens well... I won't think about that!! LOL
If we do a plot, what should the plot be about? The one for MUSTANG was centred around a war between everyone in MUSTANG. But mostly between the Bachelorettes and Bachelors, which we don't have here. But we could do something around the lines of other lead mares wanting to absorb other lands? And if they succeed it would only be temporary until we decide that the plot can be over.
For this we could advertise this for what we need:
-More band stallions
-More herd members
-Some kind of heroic horse who has to try and convince the lead mares and band stallions to stop with their 'dictatorship'
-Active members
Or we could just do a simple disaster type thing like on MUSTANG. Though I don't really find that exciting at all.
And if we do decide to go with the advertising we could go do a contest with some awesome prizes.
What do all of you guys think? Any other ideas? |

Advertise compotition! There is a site that has more than 1000 people and lots of members will see it!

Advertising contest is a good idea, but (I know from MUSTANG) that people don't participate in them very much.
If these are the prizes:
New land just for you
One character can have twins
a manip for one of your characters made by me
A trait that can be passed on to all offspring {i.e. a marking}
Rank/land can be challenge free for an ITW year
If those were the prizes, or if you guys have more in mind, would you guys participate in an advertising contest?

The Secret has a TON of members, they've probably got the most members of any horse roleplay I know. Well, Cimoron Island has a lot too, the thing is, is you need to be a member to advertise there. Unless they've changed it...
Anyway, for a plot... I have an idea. What if we created a history to ITW that was focused around Gods and Goddesses? I could write it up, since I really like writing stories. And those Gods and Goddesses kind of watch over the horses here, and come into contact with them? And one of them creates a prophecy and tells it to one of the leaders in ITW, one about a foal born on ITW that will create mayhem and try to control all of ITW. And so the kings and queens go crazy and start watching all of the foals, to try to find the one that might be in the prophecy and start killing any ones that seem violent? And then mares are worrying that their foals will be slaughtered, and so some mothers start rebelling, and the Gods and Goddesses are going "You guys royally screwed up," and then the Gods and Goddesses start punishing some horses. And then some of them are going "We need to focus on the foal!" and start fighting among each other, so it's complete and total chaos. And then a Goddess or something comes down to get rid of the battles, and escape the war going on with the Gods, and some follow the God/dess, and some don't, saying that they are the horse that will take over ITW, and yeah... >.> What do you think?
